Just a few more days!

The seasonal shift into autumn has officially begun – leaves are changing color, the air is crisp, and frost is appearing in our gardens. We are grateful to gather with you all again this year!

We want to share a few updates and reminders with you, so please read through the info below.

If you have questions, feel free to send us an email here: herbalistgathering@gmail.com

What to bring

Chair or blanket to sit on
Potluck kit – plate, bowl, spoon, fork, mug (no plates or utensils will be offered on site)
Water bottle
Jacket or Rain Jacket/Umbrella – * Classes will be held outside, so please double check the weather forecast and bring warm layers! *
Barter items (optional) – If you plan to participate in the barter circle at lunch, please keep in mind we are only allowing folks to sell items (with money exchanged) if they signed up for a vendor spot beforehand. The Barter area is located in front of the greenhouse and will take place at lunch time.
We will also have a small altar set up, and you are invited to bring items to place on it that you can take back at the end of the day.

Our event starts at 9am, so aim to arrive early enough to allow time for parking, check in, and getting settled. There will be signs for parking and volunteers to guide the way. Please stop by the Welcome Table after you’ve arrived to check in!Please follow this link to view a map of the grounds:

More about Merryspring

Merryspring Nature Center has over 100 species of medicinal plants, including native and non-native species. At this point in the season you can catch sight of many of their stalks and seeds, and we welcome you to mindfully collect some to bring home with you. Be on the look out for the red berries of Goldenseal, the white and black eyes of Baneberry, and many others. We also encourage you to become members and support the work of this local, educational non-profit.http://www.merryspring.org/join-us/membership-information/

We are so excited to share this day with you!
