Our work emerges from an anti-racist framework and aims to decolonize our relationship to plants and the land. Follow the links below to some reading to help frame that conversation if it is new to you.

We acknowledge that our event takes place on occupied and stolen Wabanaki land. Please get to know the following organizations that support the indigenous caretakers of this land we now call “Maine.”

Following is an ever growing list of practicing herbalists and herbal teachers in Maine, some of which have presented at the Maine Herbal Gathering. If you are an herbalist or teacher, or a location that hosts herbal classes regularly and would like to be added please send us an email at maineherbalgathering@gmail.com to let us know.

*At this time we are not compiling a list of herbal product makers in our area (although as you will see there is some crossover). If you have that list on your website we would happily link to it!

Are there other links you think we should include on this page? Let us know!
